a rare and compelling find indeed, the vintage custom 55 hardtail strat has all the tremolo-less charm needed to inspire any player, collector or aficionado. start with a two-piece ash body finished in nos flashcoat lacquer and add a one-piece rift-sawn maple neck with a 1954 "u" profile, vintage compound-fingerboard radius fingerboard (7.25" - 9.5") and medium vintage 47095 frets.

hand-wound 1955 strat pickups with 1954 covers are wired to a vintage 55 control assembly and five-way switch. other features include closet classic hardware, single-ply eggshell pickguard, vintage-style hardtail bridge with patent pending saddles, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut and a disc string tree. available in wide-fade two-color sunburst and aged white blonde finishes. includes deluxe hardshell case, strap and certificate of authenticity.
