add the warm dimensionality and delicious saturation of tape to your signal. teleport the sounds of the past to your pedal board. effortlessly create a wide range of beautiful, distinctive and enveloping vintage sounds.the journey begins with the first recording studios of the 1950s and 1960s. the introduction of reel-to-reel recorders and the creative engineers who used them have produced some of the most full-bodied sounds imaginable. these early machines were really the first pedal effects - they just wouldn't fit your pedal boardthe new deco now features a usb-c connection for firmware updates, and a robust midi implementation that allows for midi clock synchronization, storage of up to 300 presets, and midi communication in both directions, thanks to the 'trs midi jack input; a new superior quality jfet input circuit, with stereo inputs / outputs and relative switch on the rear panel, guarantees maximum tone and touch response, while the new and performing arm processor develops incredible computing power, absorbing less energy compared to previous versions. the user interface has been updated to offer simpler, more precise and in-depth adjustment of the most important parameters; a dedicated tone control has been added in the saturation section, greatly improving its use and making the product perfectly balanced with 3 double-tracker controls and 3 saturation controls. a switch for selecting the "classic" or "cassette" mode has also been added in the saturation section. classic is the original deco style, while cassette adds automatic level control (variable compression), as found in high-end 3-head cassette decks. the new deco is much more versatile and performing than before, with sound options that weren't available in the original.
