our second release in our tap tempo platform, the eg1 is a new lo-fi delay pedal that deep-dives into what low fidelity really means. truly explore the peripheral quirks of classic technologies with a straightforward feature set built outright for maximum sonic possibilities. featuring three different modes of signal transmission, including radio, digital television and tape with corresponding mode-dependent parameters, the eg1 is a genre-bending meta processor that instantly gels with any genre of music from straightforward country slapback to wall-of-sound shoegaze. the eg1s mod knob depends on the mode, giving you aggressive filtering, nyquist error downsampling or degrading mechanical wobbling. all the bells and whistles youve come to expect from a premium delay are also found on the eg1: an enhanced mix control that gives you true-wet and dry blends, feedback, 900ms of delay, integrated tap tempo, higher dynamic range, more headroom and an enhanced signal processing experience overall. controls feedback: signal fed back into the delay line, compounding the artifacts and bringing them to the forefront. may self-oscillate at extreme settings. mix: from 100% dry to 100% wet. mod switch: 1) radio mode: hi-pass and lo-fi filtering with some front-end radio artifact simulation. the mod knob in this mode adjusts the amount of filtering present in the repeats, while transmission adjusts the dry-wet mix of the filtered and unfiltered repeats. 2) tape mode: rate of modulation and distortion depth. you may have seen this called wow and flutter elsewhere. the mod knob introduces a higher rate of modulation that sits comfortably in the mix at all settings while transmission adjusts the depth of this effect. 3) digital television mode: nyquist error and digital downsampling with some slight bitcrushing. the mod control adjusts the nyquist error ratio, while the transmission control mixes that effect into the repeats. transmission: depth for each modes mod effect. delay time: delay time up to 900ms. turning this knob while in tap mode will return the delay time to the knob position. mod: this a mode-specific knob that injects three different processing artifacts into the delay line repeats. tap tempo: the led color indicates which mode youre in. - red: classic mode, which operates the same as a standard delay which uses the delay time knob to manually set the delay time. turn the delay time knob to enter this mode from any other mode. - green: tap input mode, which lets you rhythmically tap the footswitch to set the delay time hands-free. hold the footswitch to enter this mode from any other mode. - blue: tap bypass mode, which uses the tempo entered in tap input mode, and allows you to bypass the pedal with this time saved. press and hold the footswitch while in tap input mode to enter this mode.
